I am absolutely, over-the-moon OBSESSED with this breastfeeding session with Becky and her sweet boy Rocky. You all know I’m a Murfreesboro Photographer, but I love to travel out of my immediate area to photograph sessions in Nashville, Hermitage, and like this session – Franklin, TN. We went to the beautiful South 40 Farm in Franklin for this session and used their stunning White Room. It honestly doesn’t get more romantic than the White Room. Dreamy light, sheer curtains, focus totally centered on mama and baby – it’s perfection.

 

 

Rocky was starting to get sleepy at the beginning of our session, which really worked to our advantage! He was in total snuggle mode and it really made the session extra sweet. THIS is the dream with a breastfeeding session. Genuine, organic interactions between mama and baby that capture the tiny details of a nursing relationship. Becky will be able to look back at these in 10, 20, 30 years and FEEL Rocky playing with her hair and nuzzling sleepily against her neck. These images will bring that sweet baby smell and the weight of him resting against her right back to the forefront of her mind.

 

MY heart swells when I look through this gallery, so I can only imagine how hers will feel when she looks back at these years from now. The amount of love in this gallery is palpable. THIS is why breastfeeding sessions light my soul on fire and fill me with inspiration and joy.
